Brother Craig W Shaffer, DDGM. Using his home lodge as test subjects for his first unofficial visitation. He did very well as expected. He will service the fifth masonic district very well as he leads the district to becoming the example district for the state of Pennsylvania. I speak for all at Skerrett Lodge that we are extremely proud of you with your new endeavor.

Of all days, Friday the 13th, A retirement dinner for outgoing DDGM Gary L. Dukeman was held at the Coatesville Moose. After 9 dedicated years of service to the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania as the District Deputy, Brother Dukeman is stepping down. Although he will continue to be an asset to the fraternity and will remain active in the District, he has turned the reigns over the newly appointed DDGM, Brother Craig W. Schaffer Jr. The DDGM was presented with a token of gratitude from the 70 people in attendance and a BEAUTIFUL cake made and decorated by Dr. Lisa Harley, wife of Robert G. Harley PM of Skerrett Lodge #343. Thank you for your dedication Brother Gary.

WELCOME to the MOST ANCIENT AND HONORABLE FRATERNITY!

On Monday, May 18th the Masonic Invasion teams lead by "Chief" Chris Gibson PM, WM and Brethren from the First and Fifth Masonic district loaded up their gear and headed to Elizabethtown to invade their next victims. This time the big mean team picketed a bunch of girls. After a good dinner and a few minutes of great fellowship, the team headed to the Patton center and invaded a Job’s Daughters Bethel. The men were met by lots of laughter and giggles, a few whispers of “why are they here?” and many smiles so big that they appeared to almost hurt. The girls did an amazing job with their realistic work. After the meeting was closed, the Brethren stuck around and asked questions of what they just experienced and they also fielded many questions of what we do. This was a great experience and I encourage anyone who hasn’t been to a Job’s Daughters Meeting, please take time to see one; I promise you will be welcomed with open arms.
